What is Aadhaar?


The Aadhaar number is a collection of 12-digit random number that is issued by UIDAI to the residents of India. Any person, regardless of age and gender, residing in India, can voluntarily register to get the Aadhaar number. '


The person who wishes to register must provide minimal demographic and biometric information during the registration process, which is completely free. An individual must register with Aadhaar only once and after deduplication.
